Biblical Fatherhood

Man. Parenting is so hard. I have to be honest. I got in the weeds for a minute. But truth rose above. And do you know who the biggest truth-bringer in my life is? My sweet husband. He reminds me again and again that we are to train our children in the way that they should go. God’s way. He reminds me that this is not a popularity contest. Our hearts desire should be for the Lord and pleasing him. He reminds me that there are hard days and hard seasons and that God equips us for all of them.

Ryan is rock solid. He walks in the Lord’s ways daily and weekly and yearly. He sacrifices. He leads. He provides. There is nothing that is beneath him. He will clean toilets or wash dishes. He just wants to serve our family. He strives to be a biblical father every single day. And when he stumbles he brings Glory to God in that too. Through deep humility.

I love you so much Ryan! You are a gift to me and to our children!
