What a year for you and your family. Praising God for so many answered prayers and will continue to pray for healing. For Silas… Well done, good and faithful servant.
I had a chance to catch up on your recent blog posts! Thank you, Atkinson family, for loving Jesus just so very intentionally and thoroughly. Your family as a whole is definitely a pack of sunshine soldiers, and we all are better for the light you shine!! You inspire, you give, you lead us back to Jesus. Thank you, ever so much!! These photos brought back so many memories of the year long journey. Silas, you’ve come so very, very far!! That took angels and miracles in answers to prayer by the One True God, but also grit, determination, and resilience by you. You go!!
At the same time, there is grief too; more losses than anyone can count…. And, in the meantime, there are answers for Caleb, and yet you still are where you are. I’m thankful for all of the caring doctors you met in Cincinnati. I’m thankful for the joy he and all of you exude.
And there are other unspoken concerns which parents carry deep in their hearts…. May each one of you watch God continue to carry you through each day, that He is good, and that therefore His plan is good.
Oh, and btw, if Cedarville is on your radar, we have a friend who went and loved it there, and relatives there now who also love it! Blessings to the Atkinson 7!!
