Silas is good. He has had a very restful and uneventful day. I enjoy the lazy river much more than the roller coaster/torture device.
His ICP and BP have been a tad high but that is to be expected because he is moving so much more. He has wiggled around a lot, opened his eyes, given the thumbs up and squeezed our hands.
We are hopeful that Dr. Savage will count this as a rest day but we shall see. She is pretty protective over this boy and wants things just so. And oh how we love her for that.
Please pray for more rest for Silas. Pray for complete healing. Pray that his heart is comforted.
Please pray for all of us who love Silas. For strength and endurance.
Silas has the sweetest testimony. A friend said today, “Silas would go through this all over again if it meant others could grow in their faith or come to know the Lord.” So true. If you have not read Si’s testimony, scroll on down. It’s under the updates.

Wonderful, wonderful news. I will keep praying for rest, healing, and endurance for you all. I keep thinking how Silas is now like the Thessalonians. “For the word of the Lord has sounded forth from you not only in Macedonia and Acia, but also in every place your faith toward God has gone forth.” Yes, I see that you *all* are very much sounding forth His word as well as your faith. 🙂
