Silas Update #33 (June 6, 11:10 am)

Silas is still holding steady. The team hopes to get a CT scan today. Based on those results, they will decide if the clot needs neurological intervention. If it does they would do an Embolectomy. Basically, use a catheter to pull it out. Obviously, as with every medical procedure, there are risks.

Please pray that his ICP goes down and stays down. Please pray for a successful CT scan. Please pray that the clot has dissolved. Please pray that the team will have wisdom on next steps.

Silas belongs to the Lord. If you have not had a chance to read his testimony, please scroll on down.

  1. Thinking of this hymn as I pray for you and Ryan.

    “Day by day and with each passing moment, Strength I find to meet my trials here;
    Trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment, I’ve no cause for worry or for fear.
    He whose heart is kind beyond all measure Gives unto each day what He deems best;;
    Lovingly, its part of pain and pleasure, Mingling toil with peace and rest.”

    Praying for a successful CT scan and for any clots to dissolve. And, strength for each moment.
