Silas Update #7 (June 2)

Si’s CT from this morning came back with no change which is good. They will start to bring him off sedation at some point today. We are not supposed to stimulate his brain at all today. No talking to him but we can hold his hand. The room needs to stay very quiet.

I know many of you want to visit Silas. Not yet friends. But cards would be amazing.

And pray pray pray!!!! We are feeling them in such a big way!!!

Side note: If you have not had a chance to read Si’s testimony, scroll on down… It will bless you!

  2. We are praying and you are at the forefront of our thoughts. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Philippians 4:13

  3. This is Mrs. Allison from second grade. I have been following your story Silas and my family and I are praying for you. Your testimony is beautiful. I really was blessed by reading it. You are an extraordinary young man. You were an extraordinary second grader too. I am praying that you can feel God’s presence with you. He will never leave you. I am praying for healing for you. I am praying for wisdom for your doctors and nurses and comfort for your family. God works all things together for His good. I am trusting Him because He loves you more than any of us can imagine.

  4. Cindy, I don’t know if you remember me, but used to go to Parkway Baptist, before moving back to Mobile AL. I used to keep Caleb in the nursery when he was just a baby. and I adored him! Your mom told me about your blog several years ago and I absolutely love reading about your sweet family. I just learned last night about Silas’ accident. I am praying for a complete recovery for your sweet son and for strength for you, Ryan and your entire family.

PS: I did listen to Silas’ testimony several days ago. What an awesome testimony!!!
