Dear people that love Silas,
Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts for loving our sweet boy. Your love and prayers are strengthening all of us. I have read aloud several prayers to Si. He squeezed my hand for more.
Please continue to pray. He is stable. All his vitals look really good. We have gotten lots more hand squeezes but the doctors are keeping him heavily sedated for now. They do not want his brain to swell any more than it has to.
You all are such a blessing to us! Thank you for surrounding us. We feel the love deeply.

I’m so sorry that your precious boy has been injured. I just can’t imagine. Owen is our son and is also at the camp. We are praying for complete healing for Silas and comfort and peace beyond understanding for all of you.

Thank you for these updates, Cindy. I thank God for the good progress Silas is showing! I’m praying for him (and all of you) to have joy and patience and trust in God while you wait for further progress. Praying for all the medical staff to continue to love him and treat him well and with great wisdom and skill. And I’m continuing to pray for a full and timely recovery, and that God will greatly strengthen and encourage you all through this challenging trial!

We have been praying all day for Silas. There are so many people praying! God is so powerful. A song came on the radio and Cailin said ” Wow, this is the perfect song for Silas”. She was right. In Jesus name:
‘I speak the name of Jesus over you
In your hurting, in your sorrow
I will ask my God to move
I speak the name ’cause it’s all that I can do
In desperation, I’ll seek Heaven
And pray this for you
I pray for your healing
That circumstances would change
I pray that the fear inside would flee in Jesus name
I pray that a breakthrough would happen today
I pray miracles over your life in Jesus name, in Jesus name.’
