Silas Update #122 (With Si’s Permission)

Sorry friends. You are hearing from me a lot lately. But, I knew you would want to come alongside Silas once again. In prayer and encouragement.

Silas received some tough news a few days ago. Basically, this double vision situation is going to be ongoing. The doctors are trying to figure out what is best. And they have their work cut out for them. They don’t typically deal with the after effects of this level of blunt force trauma to the head. Because those people don’t survive. Or if they do, vision is the least of their worries.

So, we feel so incredibly blessed and so very thankful.

But, the journey has been long. And sweet Silas is growing a bit weary. He could definitely use some encouragement. And this mama knows when to call in reinforcements. So, doing one (or both!) of the following would be absolutely amazing…

1. First, and most importantly, pray for Silas! Oh my. What a work the Lord has done through prayer. I think we can all attest to that! Please pray for endurance to run the race that the Lord has set before him. Please pray that his heart remains grateful. Please pray that his testimony and the miracle of his life continues to impact others. Please pray that he draws closer to the Lord. Please pray that his vision would return to normal.
